About Cronus
Our Story
Cronus Business Systems has its origins way back until 1984 where the founder, Christopher Copelas, after graduating school, partnered with his closest friend to form their first company specializing in office and home electronics. Over the years, the focus of the business streamlined in the IT field providing solutions to businesses spanning from simple break fix on the PC level to server and network installations and service. In 2000, due to a difference in opinions on the right direction to take the business, Christopher and his partner decided to part ways. At this point, Cronus Business Systems came into play and provided similar IT services on a more boutique level. Because many clients had been with them since the beginning, Christopher started noticing an increased volume of advice being asked by other business owners about things outside of the IT industry.
In 2009, a change in direction was implemented by Cronus Business Systems to focus primarily on Business Consulting and helping other businesses through many of the same issues that Christopher ran into in growing his businesses. Along this path, they developed a system of managing a business in such a way to focus on long term goals and then putting in place tools that would help businesses on a day-to-day basis, direct their activities to support those goals.
In addition, while growing and developing their systems, additional revenue streams were defined and developed.
Our Focus
Plateaued or “Stagnated” Companies
The largest segment of our business is when we work with companies that are already running and established but have lost a direction of where they would like to take their business. Most owners have a direction or goal for their business, but sometimes they just don’t know it. It can be anything from selling the business in “X” years, to transferring the business to a family member to bringing on a partner and phasing out of the business.
We help our clients to define these Long-Term Goals and then we work with them to put in place processes and procedures specifically designed around achieving these goals. In addition, we help our clients put in place monitoring tools to help guide them on a day-to-day basis to ensure that they are always headed in the right direction.
We believe in Baby-Steps because even though clients would like to make changes in their business, they also still have to run their business. We take Long Term Goals and chop them down into more manageable and achievable goals. If you think of standing at one end of a football field and your target is in the opposite endzone, the possibility of you hitting that target with an arrow is slim to none. If you add in a target every five yards between you and your end target and take aim at the closest target, the possibilities of hitting that target are very high. If you move down that field continuously aiming at the closest target, you will be making Baby Steps but always in the right direction.
Startup Companies
We work with many startup companies to make sure that they launch their business in a way that allows them a better chance of success with their new business.
Companies In Trouble
We work with many Bankruptcy Attorneys to help their clients that they think can avoid the court systems by re-structuring, re-defining, and streamlining their operations. In addition, we also help work out deals with creditors to give clients the time that they need so that the changes that are made can be implemented and have an impact on the overall business.
Special Projects
Many of our clients reach out for help with special projects that they need help and guidance with. Some of the more recent projects include:
